Starting my business in 2020, around the same time as the start of the global Covid19 pandemic, was challenging to say the least.
With lockdown and social distancing regulations continuing for many months, dog trainers were forced to take their very practical, in-person and hands-on service-based businesses online.
Suddenly there was a whole new world of tech to learn and get to grips with. Dog trainers needed to master Calendly, Canva, Zoom, going Live on Facebook, and platforms like Zenler to host online courses and classes.
Social media became even more powerful in keeping trainers connected to clients, as well as friends and family. Suddenly there was a need to upskill and learn how to create engaging content which would not only stand out but attract your ideal client.
Then, in-person training resumed. Already overwhelmed dog trainers discovered that the rising number of people who had got puppies during lockdown had led to a surging demand for classes, 121s, workshops, and specialist behavioural support.
Thoughts turned from how to attract more new clients to how to find more hours in the day. Beating burnout became the priority.
It was in this space that my business was born.
Over the years, I have been extremely privileged to work with some of the best ethical gundog trainers in the world.
Through my one to one work, I have helped multiple five and six figure dog training businesses to launch new ventures, grow their offering and scale their businesses both online and in-person.
Whether you are just starting out, or have been training dogs since before I was born, I am here to help you harness the power of modern technology, so you too can overcome overwhelm and burnout, and focus on building a life and dog training business you love.
